For 15 years we have serviced adults in the developmental disabilities community. It started with a wish for brighter days for these adults after graduation. For those who aged out of traditional high schools without the ability to work or travel independently the future seemed dull. Joan Clark, being the outspoken advocate she is, gathered a small group of people and developed a plan. She started her own business hosting monthly bowling events for disabled adults 21+. From there the business got a large following. She began to include in-home and community services. As time passed, she acquired more clientele who requested different kinds of services so, she expanded. Today, Avenues provides community based supports and community inclusion services to over 200+ adults with disabilities. Assisting families to secure apartments for individuals interested in living independently in the community is the company’s new endeavor. Our program managers now support 60+ individuals who live independently in the community. Avenues also provides Support Coordination to 6 north Jersey Counties. We are a family owned and and operated business where quality counts. We provide flexible and reliable services to you and your loved one. With us, you’re family too!
